There's nothing I want more than for you to fall in love with your flowers. Right from our first conversation through to the delivery of your blooms your excitement is my happiness
Let's get things started
I have created florals for many amazing clients over the years, and they all start with one thing... a consultation. It is really important to have this initial discussion for me to both understand who you are and interpret your vision for your wedding day.
You will get the most out of your consultation if you can show me pictures of flowers you love, the design of your dress, or even a sample piece of fabric... anything that represents your idea. If you need some inspiration you might find it in my portfolio, on Instagram or Pinterest.
The Process
Get in touch
Think you've found the perfect florist for your big day? Send me an email to check availability. Popular dates fill up fast but if you get in touch I can pencil you in even if you don't have a specific idea of what you want. I will send through a price guide to give you an idea of what to budget. Now it is start looking for inspiration!
01
Let's Chat
Once we have a consultation booked it's time to chat about your floral dreams. Ideally I would love to meet you in person, but for those of you that are further afield, be it in New Zealand or beyond, we can have an initial chat over the phone or via Zoom at a time that suits you and meet in person closer to the big day.
You will get the most out of your consultation if you can show me pictures of flowers you love, the design of your dress, or even a sample piece of fabric...anything that represents your idea.
02
get excited
After our consultation I will write up all the details into a descriptive quote and itemised invoice, I will create a floral dream mood board and select the flowers that I would love to use. This is where you can assess your budget (realise flowers are everything and say I'll take it all!) and adjust things to suit your final ideas. Once we have finalised the quote it is time to agree to the contract and pay the 10% deposit to secure the date. Now all you have to do is hope your wedding comes round quickly so you don't have to wait too long for all that flowery goodness!

When should I contact you about my wedding?
Each wedding season is a busy one, and popular dates fill up fast. To ensure that I can spend enough time and energy on each wedding I generally book only one or two weddings a weekend. Ideally it is best to get in touch as soon as you can to secure your date… flowers play a big part in the styling of your day and once you have them organised it can make lots of other wedding decisions easier.
How do I organise a consultation?
You can arrange a time to have a consultation with me through my contact page - just fill out the contact form, email me directly or give me a call to discuss your floral dreams.
Do you have a COVID cancellation policy?
Yes I do, please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to see a copy of my Terms and Conditions.
I’m based overseas and won’t be in the country until just before the wedding, can I still have a consultation?
Yes. We can arrange an initial consultation either over the phone or via Zoom. Images of your favourite ideas can be emailed and it can be a good idea to start a board on Pinterest. Images are important so I can get a feel for the overall style you want for your wedding.
Where and when do we meet for a consultation?
Ideally I like to meet and have a chat over a cup of tea at a café that suits us both. I am available Wednesday to Fridays but should you only be available to meet on the weekends just let me know and I will try my best to fit you in. Alternatively we can catch up via Zoom or over the phone.
Can I order my ceremony and reception flowers through you?
Yes. I cater to all your floral needs. If you are using a venue that I am unfamiliar with I can visit the venue to get an accurate idea of what will work best.
I want to include flowers from my garden, can you use these in my florals?
Yes. Those little personal touches are what make your day special so if you have some favourite home-grown flora that you would like me to incorporate into your flowers just let me know.
Do you provide vases? Can I use my own vases?
I’m totally flexible when it comes to vases and props for your wedding day… I have a core selection of vases I use or I am more than happy to design flowers using your own containers or those at the venue.
Can you deliver my flowers on the day?
Yes. I can deliver and install of all your flowers to wherever they need to be. If you or a family member would like to collect the flowers on the day then that is no problem as well - I am based in Tauranga.
What are the payment requirements, do I have to pay a deposit?
A 10% deposit is required to secure the date after we have finalised the quote with the balance to be paid two weeks before the wedding day. I accept bank transfer and am flexible with payment options.
Argh! I’ve changed my mind!
I know ideas evolve, if you do have a change of heart about the vibe of your florals a few months out from the big day don’t worry, I’m flexible and will do my best to make your vision a reality.
I love flowers but I’m not sure where to start….
The best thing to do is to book a consultation. Most people have some idea of the colours they would like to include so this is a good place to start. The style of your bouquet will be influenced by your dress, your personality and the setting of your wedding. It is a good idea to have a look through some wedding blogs online or on Instagram, save and bring these images with you to the consultation. There are some great online resources such as Pinterest where you can get lots of inspiration.
